a medium sized sit down mower that needs a few things in order to make it run and ride . . needs a battery, might need carbureter removed and cleaned - has at least 1 slow leak tire so it needs an inner tube or two - is missing one metal cover just below the steering column - maybe i can find one used on e-bay for the new buyer - CALL BOB in Niantic near Rocky Neck State park, available 7 days but calls accepted from 7 am to 8 pm ONLY please - BOB 860- 739-2808
engine SHOULD run with just some basic cleaning and adjusting!
there should be no reason that i know of where this machine could not be up and running and doing a lawn cutting job within a few hours of work to this mower!
i am listing this as "parts" because it is not presently in running-operating condition - but do not let this scare you - in all likelyhood it will be a relatively easy to get up and running machine - the buyer might be welcomed to come here and see if you can make it run BEFORE you take it!

This is a 1989 Wheel Horse 42 inch side discharge mower deck, model #15-42SC01. The tractor is a 1988 Wheel Horse 312-8 garden tractor with 429 actual hours, which means the deck has less since the deck doesn't run all the time the tractor is running! The tractor and deck were sold as a unit in 1989 which accounts for the two different manufacture years and were well cared for and garage kept by one owner! The paint is original, however the underside of the deck has been painted numerous times for protection. This is an excellent deck with very minimum surface rust (see photos) and it mows great! The tractor and deck are for sale locally, however, this auction will not end early if there is a bid. This is local pick up, unless buyer arranges their own shipping!
