The SC100 - Skylink Wireless Home Security System is a totally wireless alarm system that is very easy to install, program, and use. It requires no hard wiring whatsoever. With a 100 ft range from each sensor to the control panel, the SC100 is capable of covering approximately 3000 square feet. This is more than enough coverage for a home, apartment, condo, or small business. /p>The SC100 is one of Skylink’s best selling systems. The kit comes with everything you need to install the system, from the batteries to the hardware. The kit includes the control panel which incorporates the keypad and the siren (which is extremely loud at 110dB), 1 motion sensor, 2 door and window transmitters, and a keychain transmitter so you can arm and disarm your system remotely. The kit comes pre-programmed so you can just hook up the system and start using it.
The system can incorporate up to 30 accessories including a smoke detector, flood sensor, external siren, and auto dialer. The auto dialer (sold separately) is designed to call up to 9 pre-programmed phone numbers up to 9 times each, using a personalized emergency message up to 40 seconds long.
The SC100 also utilizes what’s called rolling code technology. Skylink is the first company to incorporate this technology in a home or business security system. This guarantees that the control panel will only recognize radio waves from its remote sensors, which prevents high tech thieves from duplicating signals and tampering with your system.
What is Rolling Code Technology?
Every time you press your remote transmitter to turn the security system on or off, a code is generated which is recognized by the receiver that in turn performs the function. With most security systems there is only one assigned code. Whenever the remote is pressed, it generates the same code making it vulnerable to code grabbers who use electronic scanners to steal the code. With rolling code technology each time the remote is used, it generates a different code which can only be recognized by a rolling code receiver. So even if an electronic scanner picks up the code, the next code will not be the same, making the system safe and secure. Works
When
emergency occurs (burglar, smoke/fire,
seniors and children medical emergency),

How to operate the
system
ARM:
To arm the system, press "Lock" button on the remote controller or press "Quick Exit + * " buttons on the control keypad(if password needed, input the four digits password ). The voice "Unit Armed" will indicate the alarm system is armed, and the "Armed" LED light will be on. Once the emergency occurs(burglar, smoke/fire, seniors and children medical emergency), the system will set off immediately and dial the phone numbers which are pre-set in the system.

DISARM:
Press "Unlock" button on the remote controller or press "Set + 1 " buttons on the control keypad to disarm the system (if password needed, input 4 digits password.).The voice "Unit Disarmed" will indicate the alarm system is disarmed,and the "Armed" LED light will be off. Only the 24 hours emergency zones are still alarmed, such as the fire & smoke detector.

BYPASS:
If you want to walk around home without triggering the motion detectors, you can disarm the motion detectors separately by pressing the remote controller or "Backspace + 7" on the control keypad(if password needed,input password. Every sensor can be programed into Bypass mode).

EMERGENCY ARM:
If emergency occurs, press the Emergency button on the remote controller or on the main control panel, the alarm will set off immediately and the system will dial the pre-set telephone numbers automatically.

CONTROL THE ALARM SYSTEM BY CALLING IN:
You can call the phone number which the alarm system is connected to. After six rings (you can pre-set the ring times),the system will pick up automatically and remind you to enter the 4 digits password with voice "please input password". If password is incorrect, you will be reminded by voice "password is wrong", and it will hang up after three times of incorrect passwords. If password is correct, you will be confirmed by voice"password is correct".
Then, you can listen into your house for ten minutes automatically.
press "1" to continue to listen into your house;
press "2" to turn on the siren;
press "3" to turn off the siren;
press"4" to arm the system;
press "5" to disarm;
and press "#" to exit and hang up.
(If you set the ring time to ZERO, you can't control the system via a phone.)

CONTROL THE ALARM SYSTEM AFTER RECEIVING AN ALARM CALL:
When the alarm system is triggered, it will call the pre-set telephone numbers automatically. When you answer the alarm call, you will hear 10 seconds of your personal voice message.
Then, you can press "1" to listen into your house for 20 seconds;
re-press "1" for another 20 seconds;
press "2" to turn on the siren;
press"3" to turn off the siren;
press"4" to arm the system;
press "5" to disarm;
press"#" to confirm you have received the alarm call and hang up.
If you do not press "#" or the telephone is occupied, the system will hang up after two times of voice message and will continue to dial the rest of the pre-set telephone numbers circularly until someone answer the phone and press"#".

For example, you can mount a door sensor on the cabinet which you put your valuable stuffs in, and program this sensor into Emergency/24 hours mode, so the system will set off immediately if the cabinet is opened whenever the system is armed or disarmed. (All panic buttons,smokes and Gas Leakage/C0 detectors are automatically assigned to a Emergency/24 hour zone.)
You can stop the emergency alarm by press "disarm" button on the remote keyfob or on the keypad.

What is Rolling Code Technology?
Every time you press your remote transmitter to turn the security system on or off, a code is generated which is recognized by the receiver that in turn performs the function. Whenever the remote is pressed, it generates the same code making it vulnerable to code grabbers who use electronic scanners to steal the code. With rolling code technology each time the remote is used, it generates a different code which can only be recognized by a rolling code receiver. So even if an electronic scanner picks up the code, the next code will not be the same, making the system safe and secure. Each one can be easily placed at any door or window opening. Don’t worry about Fido interfering with the system, either. The included K9-85 MCW will take care of your four-legged friends. This sensor can distinguish between man and man’s best friend (or friends); working with the system so that pets won’t constantly trigger the alarm. Instead, if a guarded window or other area is opened, the MCT-302 will send a signal back to a two-way wireless keypad. Want to protect additional areas?
