The Xantrex C-60 PWM (pulse width modulator) controllers
can be used as PV charge controllers, DC load controllers or DC
diversion regulators in 12 and 24 volt systems They operate in only one mode at a time, so

company's transformer for power.  The demand of electricity from your 
motor runs through the wiring in your home, to the panel box, traveling

Return Policy
Please contact us at 800-790-6136 or through eBays contact vendor options to process an RMA.

You may return merchandise purchased from Ecomelectronics for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy below are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RMA). A RMA number must be issued within 14 calendar days after the date of receipt; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.

Returns should be double boxed, to avoid defacing the original box/packing of the product. The RMA# should be clearly visible on the shipping label. A copy of your invoice and Order # should be included, and your Return should be insured, with shipping costs pre-paid.

Products that are returned with a missing, damaged or altered serial number and/or UPC codes will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Refunds / Exchanges
A processing fee of 15 percent will apply to the value of all merchandise returned for a refund.

If you purchased a product from Ecomelectronics that you wish to exchange for an alternative, for speedier receipt of your exchange you can place a new order for the desired item and when we receive the original back we will issue your refund. If time is not an issue you can send back the original and upon receipt we will ship your exchanged item. Defective Item
An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced with no processing fee. You may also return a defective item for a refund.

Return Shipping
Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our warehouse) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store in order to return an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost. Damaged Items

These Items are only returnable if they have concealed damage that was not visible at time of delivery and will be exchanged for same exact model. Upon delivery you will be have the option to open/unpack the item for inspection before signing the manifest. In the event you are not available to inspect the item at time of delivery you have 24 hours to make any claims of concealed damage. You can contact us via phone or via email if it is after hours to file your claim.

If the merchandise is visibly damaged upon delivery, please refuse the delivery and note the manifest as such.

It was designed to better match the physical properties of the solar cells. Solar cells will expand and contract with changing temperatures. If you use the wrong type of encapsulation, micro-cracks in the solar cells will grow over time.Why are micro-cracks bad for solar cell efficiency?Micro-cracks form recombination centers for the charge carriers in the solar cell. This means that more of the suns energy is converted to heat instead of the more useful electrical energy. Additionally, micro-cracks change the thermo-physical properties of the solar cells.For encapsulants like EVA film, this presents serious problems. Even the smallest micro-crack present in the solar cell can grow rapidly in solar panels that were encapsulated with EVA film because the micro-cracks change the thermo-physical properties of the solar cells. The EVA film thus cannot keep up with the expansion-contraction of solar cells that are placed under the weather in the solar panels. This generates even more micro-cracks which change even more the thermo-physical properties of the solar cells.The effect of this is to reduce the efficiency of your solar panels. Your panels will degrade progressively and will eventually become useless. Every single “cheap” solar panel that is being sold on the market today (less than $2.5 per watt) fall under this category.The benefits of SOLAR-TITE:Encapsulating with SOLAR-TITE solves this problem. Alternatively, the tabbing wires would have been soldered to the front of the solar cells (i.e. The part that faces the sun).Mix the contents of the base (large jar) and the curing agent (small bottle). SOLAR-TITE provides enough working time (8 hours) for all the bubbles to escape before the mixture starts setting.Alternatively one can first solder tabbing wire only to the front of the solar cells. Then using a brush, apply a layer of the mixture to the glass and then place the solar cells on top of the application one by one in the required arrangement, making sure to keep the dangling tabbing wire bent up from the glass so that the arrangement of solar cells can be soldered together after the encapsulant hardens. Some have found that this method is much easier and also conserves encapsulant.After the encapsulant has set, one can now apply the backing material. A good backing material is our SOLAR-TITE 7741-TE, which was designed to have good thermal conduction properties as well as strong adhesive properties with SOLAR-TITE 384 as well as most solar cell encapsulants on the market today. Ideally, if one uses method 2 (see above) to make the solar panel, then SOLAR-TITE 7741-TE is a much more attractive option for the solar panel backing given that only a fraction of the SOLAR-TITE 384 will be needed for a given size panel.
