The Edgestar IB120SS offers a refrigerated storage bin ensuring that the ice produced will last longer and enabling the unit to operate without the need of a permanent drain line. Standing at 25 inches and needing minimal installation, it will work in a wet bar, kitchen, RV, boat, or office. It has a true stainless steel door on a black body, so it will match most decors. The EdgeStar IB120SS ice maker produces up to 12 pounds of crescent-shaped ice per day and fits under most counters. No drain is required and it is simple and inexpensive to have installed by a licensed plumber. This compact ice maker has the look, performance and features of other units that are more than twice the cost. It also meets ADA height requirements.

Do all ice makers produce the same type of ice?  No, there are several varieties of ice shapes and consistencies depending on which unit you purchase. Clear ice is restaurant-quality, gourmet ice whose impurities have been removed so the cubes do not have the cloudy appearance of regular ice. This ice is completely odorless and tasteless, however, clear ice makers are usually more expensive. Ice may be produced in a variety of shapes, including actual cubes, cylinders, shot glass and crescents. Cylindrical ice is rounded and often has an indentation in the top and a rounded out bottom. Crescent ice cubes are similar to what many ice makers in refrigerators make, long with flat tops and round bottoms and resemble the shape of a crescent moon. Ice may also be produced in whole cubes, crushed or flake style.

Are built-in ice makers designed for outdoor use?  If you wish to install an ice maker outdoors you should purchase a unit that includes an outdoor use designation from the manufacturer. An ice maker designed for outdoor use will include additional insulation throughout the unit as well as better shielding of the electronic components from the elements. The additional insulation will allow the unit to produce ice without overworking the internal compressor as the unit will be located in what is typically a warmer outdoor environment. You will still need to allow for drainage of the unit as you would with an indoor model. Should you choose to install an indoor ice maker in an outdoor environment you run the risk of shortening the units overall lifespan as the internal compressor will be required to overcompensate for the lack of additional insulation. You will also run the risk of invalidating the warranty for your unit since indoor rated models are not designed for outdoor use.

This listing features a Whirlpool ED5CHQ Side By Side Water Dispenser 25.4 CuFt. Refrigerator Freezer! Tested and it works. I didnt test the water dispenser. Has some scuffs, dents and dings. Dents mainly on the outside corners as seen in last picture. Scuffs on the handles and scattered on the face. Face is in rather good condition otherwise. Would make a good garage fridge or if it had surround end panels in the kitchen for a built in look. It measures 35 1/2" W X 69 3/4" T (to the hinge top) X 34" overall depth (approx 29" to end of fridge side panel). For local pickup only in Plainfield, IL 60586 or I can deliver within 50 miles for $1.00 a mile (charge for the way there only, way home on me). 50 mile delivery would cost you $50.Rather clean but purchase expecting to put in a little cleaning time if you so desire. Nice!

You are looking at a beautiful, slightly used BOSCH Evolution 500 Series refrigerator. This fridge works perfectly. It looks great - besides a few small cosmetic imperfections shown on the pictures, it will look brand new in your kitchen. We are selling it at a fraction of its original cost (~$2,700) because we just sold our second home and are moving out of state. This BOSCH fridge is 26 5/8" deep (counter depth), 70 7/8" high, and 35 5/8" wide. This is a STAINLESS STEEL LOOK color - this is not a stainless steel.
